The ADDIE Process
Our overall development approach for learning solutions (e.g., ILT, vILT, eLearning) follows the proven Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The ADDIE process is a theory-driven, iterative, and flexible approach for training program creation that we use to work through course production, from analysis through evaluation. Using the ADDIE model, TCC will consult and collaborate with our clients to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate.
The Analysis phase can be considered as the "Goal-Setting Stage." In this phase, our team of expert designers focuses on the target audience. We analyze a number of audience demographics to ensure that we develop the solution at an approprate level, using the right methodologies and delivery strategies. Via the development targeted learning outcomes, TCC instructional designers craft the path from what the students already know to what they will know upon course completion.
In the Design phase, our expert team of instructional designers works with you to formulate learning objectives aligned with business goals. Our team will create assessments, exercises, and content that illuminates the mind with engaging learning activities.
In the development phase, our world-class developers breathe life into the content that was blueprinted in the design phase. Through our proven methodology, we build, test, and implement your feedback into a compelling learning solution.
In this phase, our team is laser-focused on roll out, from the creation of procedures for training facilitators and learners, to other program logistics such as student registration for ILT. Our user acceptance testing of eLearning modules ensures successful optimization of your learning initiative.
Traditionally, the E in ADDIE stands for evaluation, and is used to determine the long-term effectiveness of the provided courseware. In our ADDIE model, we evaluate every step of the way with pulse checks on our analysis, design, development and implementation efforts to ensure maximum impact upon delivery.
